 Anita Jenke joined the Center as the first Director of Development in July 2005.
She is responsible for managing the fundraising programs of the Center, including grant management, donor relations, community outreach, volunteer coordination, and special events planning. She has over
fourteen years of experience in community-based social services ranging from program design and management to fundraising. She has an undergraduate degree in history from Murray State University, Murray, KY.
Ms. Jenke is on the board of The Chicago Jobs Council and is a member of the Association of Fundraising Professionals.

"The mission of the Development Department is to expand and diversify the income base of the Center. For that reason, the Department has worked closely with the Executive Director and
Board to develop a Strategic Fundraising Plan that includes components such as program evaluation, donor relations, grant management, board development, media relations, and special events." she explains. When
asked what she enjoys most at TWTC, she responded, "I have been impressed with the staff's commitment to providing compassionate and holistic services to our clients and the board's commitment to raising the funds
to support this wonderful program."
