Pamela Costakis, Director of Childcare Services

Ms Costakis has 20 years experience in early childhood education. She oversees the daily operations of the licensed day care program as well as the Crisis Nursery, a 24/7 program for children who need emergency child care.

Her philosophy is that "we must give to these children the best possible experience whether their stay is 2 days or two years. They must feel welcomed, respected and valued during their stay here. I hear stories that when moms who have been at TWTC with their children and they relapse, the child is the one who says "I think we need to go back to TWTC".

To see the children happy to come to day care while their moms do their work is our goal. We want to provide a non-judgmental positive place for them to learn and grow. We are always striving to improve the quality of our services."

Ms Costakis holds a MS degree from NIU in early childhood education and a BS degree in psychology from Bradley University. She also has her Illinois Director's credential, Illinois Type 02 teaching certificate and is currently working toward her Infant Studies credential at Erikson Institute
