Residential Treatment

Residential Treatment - Structured Support

Achieving long-term sobriety starts with building a solid base of recovery knowledge and skills. TWTC offers gender-specific residential treatment in four safe and supportive units, with the length of treatment based on the client needs.

These include:

  • Residential Rehab 3:  Beds for up to 14 women and up to 23 children through age 5
  • Residential Rehab 2 & 4: Beds for up 44 women

Primary activities in the Residential Treatment Programs include:

  • Weekly individual counseling sessions
  • 25 hours of treatment services per week
  • Medical monitoring, including referrals for additional medical, dental and mental health services
  • Parenting services for women with children in residence
  • Linkage to outside agencies and services to ensure successful reentry into their communities

Clients receiving Opioid Maintenance Therapy are accepted into Residential treatment. TWTC utilizes a multidisciplinary team to provide clients with a gender-responsive approach to substance abuse treatment.  Our teams includes substance abuse counselors, and parenting, medical and mental health  professionals.

Together they work to assess, plan and deliver essential services. During treatment, clients identify specific goals, which are incorporated into their individual service plans. The plan is reviewed on a regular basis and revised as the client progresses.

Trauma Recovery

TWTC provides trauma-informed treatment through specialty groups that utilize the Trauma Recovery and Empowerment model, an evidence-based approach to treating Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder in women. This model has become one of the major trauma recovery interventions for women.
