"(TWTC Executive Director) Dr. Oates and my counselors were waiting for me. They welcomed me and Trinity with open arms," she says. While she was in treatment, she says the TWTC childcare staff and Dr. Oates nurtured Trinity for her.

"They worked with me. They worked with Trinity," Bridgette recalls. "TWTC is like the family I never had. They played a big part in my recovery and in raising my child." Today, Bridgette is celebrating two years of sobriety and has completed training as a Detox specialist. Trinity has mastered her prosthetic leg, is highly mobile and very happy.

"She's my miracle child," says Bridgette. She now has regained custody of her first child, whom she calls her "gift." She says she feels like part of the TWTC family. "They went above and beyond their jobs. They were helping me from their hearts. I thank them deeply."
